At the same time, the retail sales index in November also dropped from -27 in October to -46, the lowest level in 25 years. The deterioration of these major consumer markets has led to a continuous decline in Jiangsu's textile and clothing exports.

While exports are blocked, domestic clothing consumption is also sluggish, and there is also a downward trend, with limited domestic market space.

According to statistics, in October, the growth of clothing sales volume in 100 shopping malls in the whole country decreased significantly compared with last year, and sales of all kinds of clothing increased much less.

Among them, the cold clothing for the season dropped by 29.3%, and leather clothing decreased by 35.66%. In contrast, last year's sales of cold proof clothing and leather clothing increased by 29.47% and 37.17% respectively, making some enterprises plan to export to domestic sales, and garment enterprises are facing the test of "severe winter".
