According to the twenty-first Century economic report, China's imports and exports in November may have seen negative growth for many years.

People familiar with the matter disclosed to reporters on 4 December, the customs preliminary statistics show that in November, China's exports exceeded 100 billion US dollars in November, a decrease from last year, and imports of US $about 70000000000, down from the same period last year to a figure of two digits, with a monthly surplus of tens of billions of dollars.

The above data are only partial summarization results, or omissions.

China's previous negative export growth was in June 2001.

The above reference data have not been audited.

In December 5th, the local customs will report the audit data to the general administration again. After December 10th, the General Administration of Customs will issue the revised final data.

Reporters also failed to confirm the above data to the General Administration of customs.

The source said that the plunge in the import and export volume surprised the policy makers. The frequency of the data submitted by the general administration to the central government has been adjusted once every 10 days.
