Clothing Sales In Germany And Britain Dropped By 52% And 34%

The British Retail Association (BRC) said that the total retail sales in the UK fell by 19.1% during the first month of April, from April 5th to May 2nd. Non food online sales increased by 57.9% in April, accounting for 69.9% of total non food sales in April. In the three months ending April, sales of non food items in physical stores fell by 36%.

In March, sales of clothing and footwear stores in Britain dropped by 34.2% and 44.2% respectively, according to the latest data from the National Bureau of statistics.

Germany

According to the Eurostat, sales of clothing and footwear stores in Germany fell 51.9% in March.

Italy

According to the survey of Italy Fashion Industry Federation, Italy's fashion and textile industry lost more than 3 billion 500 million euros in the first quarter, and lost about 9 billion euros in the whole year.
