Fujian Jinjiang: Shoe Mold Factory Pollutes The Environment The Boss Driver Is Arrested.

After investigation, the plant did not get the pollutant discharge permit to illegally discharge water pollutants.

After sampling and monitoring, the concentrations of copper, zinc, nickel, total chromium and six valent chromium in the drainage ditch of the processing point workshop were 35.8mg/L, 9.7mg/L, 0.459mg/L, 0.025mg/L and 0.004mg/L respectively, and the concentrations of Cu, Zn, Ni, Cr, Cr and Cr in the water collected from the pool water were 152mg/ L, 7.07mg/L, 0.230mg/L, 0.430mg/L, and 0.021mg/L, respectively. The concentrations of pollutants in the drainage ditch were six, respectively.

The total copper and total zinc of the second kinds of pollutants in the drainage ditch of the processing point workshop exceeded the two grade standard (total copper 1 mg/L, total zinc 5.0mg/L) 34.8 times and 0.94 times that of the comprehensive wastewater discharge standard (GB 8978-1996) table 2, respectively. The total copper and total zinc of second kinds of pollutants in the pool water outside the workshop exceeded 151 times and 0.414 times respectively.

The shoe mold

There were signs of production on the spot, suspected of polluting the environment, but all the workers in the factory had escaped.

In June 22nd, the Jinjiang Environmental Protection Bureau pferred the case to the Jinjiang police.

In August 4th, the suspect Zhang was captured by the brigade and was detained on the same day.

It turned out that Zhang was the driver of the shoe mould factory, who was responsible for receiving and delivering shoe models and familiar with customers.

Liu himself is not familiar with running shoes, nor does he know with customers.

In order to continue the operation of the shoe mold flower factory, Liu hired Zhang to assist the management of the shoe mold flower factory, which was not discovered before being found in less than 3 months.
