The first committee of the general trade union was elected by the conference, including 1 chairmen, the vice chairmen, the director of the funding Review Committee, and the chairmen of the women's staff committees.

Liu Yandong, Secretary of the Akesu prefectural Party committee and Discipline Inspection Committee, attended the founding meeting and pointed out that the establishment of the Federation of trade unions in the textile industrial city (Development Zone) is the first in the whole region and has been at the forefront of all the development zones, creating a new prospect for the work of the regional trade unions.

It is hoped that the Federation of trade unions of the development zone will continue to enhance the level of trade union work in the future by innovating and doing a solid job, effectively doing a good job in the work of the masses of workers and staff, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers, increasing the work of helping the poor and helping the needy, constantly guiding the workers to be loyal defenders of national unity, a powerful promoter of economic development and a faithful practitioner of the rule of law, making a more active contribution to the realization of the leaping development and long-term stability of the region.

It is reported that 5 years after the establishment of the Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone), the scale of the industry has grown steadily, the investment environment has been increasingly optimized, and the urbanization process has been accelerating.

At present, there are more than 150 industrial enterprises and nearly 10000 industrial workers in the development zones.

The establishment of the Federation of trade unions of the Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone) indicates that the Akesu textile industrial city has taken a solid step in the work of safeguarding the rights and interests of workers, deepening democratic management and increasing the rights and interests of workers, and comprehensively promoting the construction of the "Six Party" trade union, the joining and serving of migrant workers, and highlighting the textile industry.
