According to the latest statistics of the General Administration, Vietnam's textile exports amounted to US $6 billion 260 million in the first 6 months of this year, an increase of 29.77% over the same period last year.
In June, Vietnam's textile exports amounted to US $1 billion 320 million, an increase of 33.71% compared with the same period last year.

The market for the United States ($3 billion 180 million) and Japan ($710 million), compared with the same period last year, exports to the two countries increased by 15.61% and 48.03% respectively.
Meanwhile, Vietnam's textile exports to Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Canada and Holland exceeded $100 million.
Although the main export markets are showing growth, Vietnam's textile exports to Egypt showed a sharp decline in the first 6 months of this year, a drop of 21.73%.
