Clothing Environmental Protection Leads The New Fashion

On the evening of May 23rd, the costume design competition of the fourth science, technology and Culture Festival of the Department of Applied Design of Guangdong Female Polytechnic College was staged on the four floor of the art building of T.

Sun Xiaohua, Dean Wu Hongyue, former party secretary Yao Qinying, vice president Li Liting, deputy party secretary He Wenhua and other leaders and teachers attended the event.



At the event, Xiao Jiancheng, assistant dean of the Department of Applied Design and Dean of the Department of applied design, spoke on the stage. He praised the unique creativity of the students who participated in the competition.

It is understood that after the intense screening of the preliminaries, a total of 23 sets of works came to the fore.

In the final, the elite from various department models showed their works to the audience. Their exquisite workmanship and novel form gave us a visual impact.

Players use their daily waste materials, such as old cloth, plastic products, waste newspapers, caps, balloons and other resources, and use their own skillful hand to compiling them into a variety of styles, low carbon and environmentally-friendly fashion.

Its liveliness, elegance or lovely style makes us feel the wisdom, learning and knowledge of contemporary female college students.

Every piece of work on the T platform condenses the work of the author, and every idea conceales a story.



Liao Xiaoli, director of the clothing profession, made a professional comment on the competition. She expressed delight in the metamorphosis of some of the competitors who participated in the ancient Chinese costume design competition.

She said that through this competition, she can truly feel the training of players in a competition, enhance students' learning ability and help students learn professionally.



It is understood that the clothing creative design competition is the brand activity of the Department of Applied Design of the women's college, and is also one of the most influential activities in the women's college. The theme of this competition is "green fashion", which aims to publicize the concept of environmental conservation, enhance environmental awareness and innovation ability, and show the healthy and lively spirit and artistic style of contemporary college students.

Through this event, the contestants are closely related to the clothing profession, learn to cooperate with models and staff together, try to explain their design ideas to the audience with their own words, make progress in their study and grow in practice.

The costume creative design competition is one of the series of activities of the fourth science, culture and Arts Festival of the applied design department of the women's college. Other activities such as the animation design competition and the graphic design competition are also in full swing. All activities are expected to end in June, and the exhibition will be held at the school art building.
