Be very careful.

"Doctor, why don't I cough up a long time after I have recently taken the baby?" these days, doctors at the asthma and tracheitis prevention center of Fuzhou children's Hospital encounter parents who ask this question almost every day.

Their children were treated for unexplained cough and asthma, and the results were all asthma.

According to Tang Suping, chief physician of the center, there were down garments, silk padded jacket or silk quilts in the children's homes. Some children wore their down coats or silk padded jacket for a long time to attack asthma. Some children were suffering from asthma after being held by their parents wearing such clothes.

Whenever they receive such children, Tang Suping will ask their parents to take them for an allergen test, and almost all of them are found to be allergic to feathers and silk.

Tang Suping said that many children suffer from asthma, which is caused by allergies. Allergies that cause asthma include dust, mites, pollen, grass seeds, feathers, silk and so on. Among them, children with asthma who are allergic to feathers and silk are 40%~50% of all asthmatic children.

Some parents believe that as long as the clothes down, silk and cotton quilts are tightly stitched and no silk feathers are exposed, it is safe for children with allergic constitution.

Children who are usually allergic to feathers or silk are likely to induce asthma even if they breathe in tiny feathers and silk that are invisible to the naked eye.

Tang Suping reminded that the current low temperature weather will reduce the resistance of many allergic children, and are more likely to suffer from respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis, asthma and pneumonia.

Once the child is diagnosed with asthma, it is best to take an allergen test. (before testing, stop using chlorphenamine and chlorpheniramine and other antiallergic drugs for at least 3 days), so as to find allergens as soon as possible and isolate them in time to avoid repeated attacks in the future.
