China International Women'S Wear Designer Competition Ended In Hangzhou

Yesterday, the sixth "COCOON" Cup China International Women's costume designer Grand Prix awards ceremony was held in Hangzhou. The Hangzhou municipal government recognizes that the key to winning the competitive advantage lies in the talents of Hangzhou women's clothing brands. It is not lack of brilliant fashion design power in China. Rather, it lacks the environment and soil for them to stand out and realize their dreams. In fact, since 2007, Hangzhou has implemented the "China outstanding women's designer's discovery plan".

After three years of rapid development, the China International Women's wear designer Grand Prix has become one of the top and most professional events in China. It has been praised by the media and industry as "the Whampoa Military Academy in China's fashion design industry" and "the event of changing the fate of Chinese designers". At present, the event has successfully created a training system for excellent design talents: professional selection of high-quality talents, heavy investment in foreign training, and policy support after completion of study. It is understood that the 12 top designers in the first two competitions have returned from the French High Fashion Association and the European Design Institute. At present, with the support of the Hangzhou municipal government, some of them have begun to create their own designer brands, some have served as the leading designers in famous brands, and also have entered the professional institutions for garment education. The 6 designers who won the prize last year will also finish their studies in Italy European Design Institute next year.

It is understood that the China International Women's wear designer competition is sponsored by the China Fashion Designers Association and the leading group of Hangzhou silk and women's clothing industry development. The award has officially been launched, and has received the enthusiastic response from designers. A total of 2666 manuscripts have been received. After 8 months of initial evaluation, 30 athletes entered the finals. After finishing the examination of 7 links, such as brand planning, product planning, garment making, interview and dynamic display, 6 athletes from ye Meng sprouts came to the fore and won the gold, silver and bronze medals of this competition. The 6 awarding designers will also be sent to the Italy European Design Institute and the New York Fashion Institute of Hangzhou for funding from 300 thousand to 500 thousand yuan.
