"In July 21st, the Federal Bureau of statistics of Pakistan showed that Pakistan textile exports amounted to US $10 billion 244 million in the 2009 to 10 fiscal year (July 2009 to June 2010), an increase of about 7% compared with the previous fiscal year of 9 billion 572 million US dollars.
Among them, exports amounted to $921 million in June, 9.81% higher than last June's $839 million.
The export of cotton yarn increased from 1 billion 114 million US dollars to US $1 billion 417 million, increasing by 27.13%, and the export of raw cotton increased from 87 million US dollars to US $195 million, increasing by 124%.
The export volume of other yarn, cotton, combed and combed cotton decreased by 100%, 7% and 24% respectively.
On the other hand, the export of knitted garments increased from $1 billion 740 million to US $1.16% to US $1 billion 761 million; bedding exports decreased slightly from US $1 billion 735 million to US $0.64% to US $1 billion 723 million; towel exports increased from 5.17% US dollars to US $642 million, and garments exports increased from 1 billion 230 million US dollars to US dollars.
